Ceramic Crowns

Ceramic Crowns

Crowns cover & support a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth left. They can be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking, or restore one that’s already broken. A tooth crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discoloured or badly shaped as well, or to cover a dental implant. A crown can make your tooth stronger & improve its appearance.

CEREC processes allow our dentists to scan your teeth, design, produce and place a new ceramic crown in under 2 hours!

How CEREC Works

Scan

A quick digital scan replaces the traditional impression trays.

Design

Using the 3D virtual computer software, the restoration model is designed.

Production

The custom restoration is constructed in the clinic during the same visit.

Place

The restoration is placed in your mouth and bonded to the teeth, typically taking between 60-90min.

Bridges

Bridges

Bridges are custom oral appliances created by your dentist to replace missing teeth & restore your smile. Bridges are made to resemble your natural teeth. There are several types of bridges that vary in both stability, application & cost. Removable bridges can be removed for cleaning but are not as stable as fixed bridges & implant supported bridges. Fixed bridges are cemented to the natural teeth on either side of the missing tooth gap, & implant-supported bridges use an artificial metal tooth root to attach the bridge to the bone of your jaw. Your dentist can recommend which type of bridge is best for you.

CEREC processes allow our dentists to scan your teeth, design, produce and place a new ceramic bridge in a single visit!

Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace partials, bridges or dentures. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone & a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighbouring teeth (like a bridge might). Dental implant treatment can be finished in three to five visits over the span of about 4-12 months.

Dentures

Dentures

If you’ve lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures could be the solution. Whether you need partial or full dentures, they’re essential to not only improve the look of your smile but also your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you had never lost your teeth, dentures also protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur & cause a more aged appearance. Dentures can also improve your speech. Denture maintenance combined with a regular regimen of proper brushing can guarantee you’ll lead a more comfortable & healthy life.

Bonding

Bonding

Bonding is a quick & painless way to restore your smile’s natural beauty. If your smile is dulled by chips, stains, cracks or misaligned teeth, bonding can help you reclaim it in a single visit. During the bonding procedure, a thin coat of plastic or resin is painted over the damaged teeth, strengthening them & making them virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.
